How Busy Was Your Weekend?

Let's see:

My eldest turned 17 on Saturday.
  • It is absolutely inconceivable that I am old enough to have a 17-year-old.
  • I'm not sure if he's taking me seriously, but I told him he is now too old to play with toys.
  • Cake is evil!
  • Actually, I know he isn't taking me seriously on the toy thing.
We bought my husband a new car.
  • Mazda3 5-door - absolutely fucking totally loaded.
  • OK, I admit it, I'm jealous. I mean the car has heated leather seats! Not to mention an in-dash 6 CD changer/MP3 player. And rain-sensor windshield wipers. It's ok to be jealous, right?
  • We actually pick it up tomorrow evening ... then, I can start really being jealous.
We finished our taxes.
  • On the first run-through, we owed $400 dollars. When we did it today, we are getting $1300 back.
  • Still, I'm pretty sure we made a mistake, but in the government's favor.
  • I just hope they spend the extra taxes we paid for a good cause - not to like kill people or anything!
We discovered that our water heater valve has been leaking.
  • The wallboard is soggy and mildewy.
  • Maybe that's why my allergies have been so bad.
  • Even in a spray bottle, 50% bleach solution gets on your hand and burns like crazy. Note to self: wear gloves next time.
I have PMS to the max!
  • I think my family is about to disown me.
  • I really don't blame them; I'm being a total bitch!

My oldest turn 18 yesterday.

I picked up a used truck.

Taxes...damn...forgot

Try white vinegar on the area instead of bleach.

No PMS...I am male.

I doubt your son will get over the toy thing...judging by the car, it sure sounds like your husband hasn't!
