Sometimes, Companies Do It Right ...


If you look back at this post, you will see info about the current Pepsi promotion. I was upset when I got some bottles that had labels about the promotion, but the caps didn't have codes in them! I contacted Pepsi, and after just a few days, they resolved the issue and sent me a few caps in the mail (actually more than the number of dud bottles I had told them about). I was so amazed that I sent them the following note:
I contacted Pepsi last week about an issue concerning the Box Office Promotion. I just wanted to write and say how impressed I was by the quick and helpful response I received! Nowadays, it seems that most companies have decided that "customer support" is a waste of money, but it's obvious to me that Pepsi still believes in it! Thank you so much. Keep up the good work.

On the other hand, the same post shows a link to the current Coke promotion. I recently noticed that they have raised the number of points needed for certain rewards! I think changing the rules mid-promotion like that is pretty stinky!
